Grey’s Anatomy Season 9, Episode 5 Sneak Peek: Cristina Seems … Happy? (VIDEO)

In this sneak peek from Grey's Anatomy Season 9, Episode 5: “Beautiful Doom” (airing November 8), Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) have an early morning phone chat as they go about their everyday routines. Can we pause for a moment to point out how incredibly different each of their mornings are now, compared to two seasons ago?

Now, Cristina is actually chipper and optimistic as she greets a happy neighbor in Minnesota, and tells Meredith to “buck up.” Meredith is busy making breakfast for and getting peed on by baby Zola. As we know, this episode will be a Meredith-and-Cristina-centric episode, with at least one brief appearance by Derek (Patrick Dempsey).
