Heather (Tina Majorino) ended up learning way more about Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) lives than she ever wanted to when Meredith put her in charge of contacting Derek's sisters to see if one of them would donate a nerve to Derek. Liz (Neve Campbell) answered the call, and made an excellent grand entrance.

Jo (Camilla Luddington) was paired with Alex (Justin Chambers), who annoyed her by calling her "princess." But don't worry, by the end they bonded because it turns out Alex was totally wrong about Jo: her background is anything but privileged.

Shane (Gaius Charles) was paired with April (Sarah Drew), and they had to deal with a lot of gross things. It was gross. But Shane learned to care about the patients, and so now he gets to help with Derek's surgery.

Cristina (Sandra Oh) pit Leah (Tessa Ferrer) and Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) against each other in a battle for her approval, which mostly proved to us that we like Stephanie a lot more. Also, they both got banned from the OR for being too competitive and almost killing someone.

Overall, it was nice to get to know the interns more, but we didn't love this episode. We give it 3 stars. What did you think?
