As we reported yesterday, showrunner Shonda Rhimes recently tweeted that "intense discussions with writers" led to some "very bold shocking decisions" about the Season 9 finale. Does that mean they've changed their mind about this season not featuring a disaster?
It's certainly possible. Shonda tweeted late yesterday: "Any spoilers you read about GA finale or anything I said before NO LONGER STANDS. We changed everything yesterday."
It sounds like the writers were originally planning a relatively low-key finale, but have since gone back on that idea. Does that mean the docs could be in life-threatening danger once again? With Grey's Anatomy, anything's possible — especially when words like "bold" and "shocking" are thrown around.
