It’s no secret that Dr. Bailey may be fired in next week’s episode (after her patients all died from a mysterious post-op infection), and she might not be the only one in danger — according to a new spoiler from E! Online, in the finale, something will “stop working.”

However, it’s not someone quitting... at least at first. When a slew of important machines stop working, Grey Sloan Memorial’s doctors and patients are frantic, causing mayhem at the hospital.

The site says that “the doctors find themselves in over their heads” when these machines — specifically ventilators — stop working, and they call upon surprising people to help: “patients' frantic loved ones.”

Say what? It must be a dire situation if the doctors, who typically stay far away from scared significant others until they have news for them, are turning to patients’ loved ones for help. This can’t end in anything but disaster, right? Fingers crossed that trauma surgeons Chief Owen Hunt and April Kepner can save the day.
