Things at Grey Sloan Memorial are finally getting back to normal, so naturally, that means disaster is just around the corner, right? Well, if you thought any of our beloved Grey’s Anatomy regulars would be jumping ship this season, think again. Grey's Anatomy showrunner Shonda Rhimes is assuring fans that all of the major cast members are staying put.

"We're not going to see any cast departures," Shonda told The Hollywood Reporter.

But that doesn’t mean it won’t be a bumpy ride for our favorite doctors. At the end of Season 9, Episode 15: “Hard Bargain,” Meredith, Derek, Cristina, Callie and Arizona all handed in their resignations from the hospital in order to set forth their plan to buy it back from potential incompetent investors. Earlier in the season, the docs who survived the plane crash -- which claimed the lives of both Mark and Lexie -- were awarded $15 million (each!) from the hospital.

But the settlement drove Seattle Grace-Mercy West into bankruptcy, and without a buyer, the hospital could very well close its doors, putting everyone who didn’t get a cool $15 million settlement out of a job.

"You're going to see them feel the burden of what they've done," Rhimes explained to THR about survivors. "It's not that they weren't right to do it, but there's definitely a sense of resentment that comes from other people because they have this money and the money has now has made everything harder for everyone else."
