If you thought that three newbies was all Grey's Anatomy Season 9 could handle, you were sadly mistaken. And that can only mean one thing: There is yet another fresh face coming to Seattle (or some hospital somewhere).
TVLine reports that the relatively unknown Tessa Ferrer will be joining Gaius Charles, Camilla Luddington and Tina Majorino in a recurring role next season. Not surprisingly, there is little known about Tessa’s part, but we figure she has something to do with medicine, whether she’s an intern at Seattle Grace-Mercy West or a doctor at one of the new hospitals the residents might be going to.
So that brings the count up to four! What could Grey’s Anatomy want with four new guest stars? The last time we had this many new faces at once, we had the merger, which ended with a shooter taking out several of them. Hopefully, this time, things won’t be so drastic.
What do you guys think? Are these new faces going to change things at Seattle Grace-Mercy West, or do you think it’s the other hospitals we need to be curious about?

Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 will premiere on Thursday, September 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
