The end of the Grey's Anatomy Season 9 premiere (Season 9, Episode 1: "Going, Going, Gone") threw a major curveball fans' way. The previously bright, chipper, and optimistic Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is now depressed and lethargic because she lost her leg in the place crash from the Season 8 finale (Season 8, Episode 24, "Flight") and blames her own wife, Callie (Sara Ramirez), for cutting it off.

Will we be stuck with this bitter, lost version of Arizona for long? Recently, Jessica Capshaw chatted with Celebuzz, and hinted at her character's future.

Jessica agreed that we'll see "a very different side," of Arizona, but also added that it won't be forever.

"No one's teeing the story up for defeat," she said. "There will be light at the end of the tunnel."

Whew!
