Grey's Anatomy Season 9 started on a somber note, with Mark's (Eric Dane) death, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) losing her leg, and basically the entire cast — Bailey (Chandra Wilson) aside — emotionally distraught.

But Grey's is known for its humor as well as its drama, and we won't have to wait long for a light-hearted break from the angst.

As we previously reported, Episode 4: "I Saw Her Standing There" (airing October 25), which was directed by Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt), will be a lighter, funnier episode. Now, Kevin has dished some details to Entertainment Weekly about what kind of levity we can expect.

Is it any surprise that, given the main characters' various bad circumstances, the biggest laughs will come from the "wild cases" of the week? According to Kevin, we should especially look out for a "particularly crazy storyline with a guy who’s had his man parts get way out of control." You know what that means: "double entendres" galore.

Nothing like a little sex humor to lighten up the mood!

Catch the next new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday, October 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
