With all of the big spoilers coming out about Grey's Anatomy Season 9, it's easy to forget that Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) are supposed to be packing their bags for Boston. There are a lot of reasons they might end up staying in Seattle, but a recent spoiler from William Keck of TVGuide suggests that there could be some real estate shuffling going on — for MerDer, or maybe for someone else.

"#greysanstomy casting a perky realtor woman for ep 3," Keck tweeted recently. "Is Meredith selling her house?"
It seems like Grey's Anatomy wouldn't be Grey's Anatomy with Meredith's house, but we can see why this is the theory Keck jumped to. After all, it's perfectly logical. If Meredith leaves for Boston, she'll need to sell the house — since she can't just pass it on to Lexie (Chyler Leigh) (*tears*). And even if she stays, she'll want to move into the MerDer dream house, which, again, means she'd have to sell her house.
On the other hand, as much as we hate to think about it, maybe the realtor is for the dream house. If Mer and Der decide to follow through with the Boston plan, they might need to sell. Derek said he was going to give the house to Mark (Eric Dane), but obviously that won't be an option. Hey, maybe they won't be able to go through with it, and that's why they'll decide to stay!
Alternatively, maybe the realtor isn't for Meredith or Derek at all. Perhaps one of the other docs is buying realty. Or maybe this is all a mislead, and the perky realtor is actually the patient of the week.
