After a not-so-smooth marriage -- involving arguments, adultery and a psychotic break -- Grey's Anatomy’s most unpredictable couple, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Cristina (Sandra Oh), figured out the one thing that could save their relationship: divorce.

And we have to admit, It seems to have worked. After signing the divorce papers, they’re back to being the happy couple we remember. They’re sneaking around at the crack of dawn, hooking up in the on-call room and finally laughing again. But will the lawsuit that saved their relationship be their undoing?

Owen only brought up the idea of divorce in the first place so Cristina could have a shot at winning the lawsuit. But now that the money means shutting down the doors of Seattle Grace-Mercy West, will the fact that Owen and Cristina are on opposite sides of this issue cause more drama than they’re ready to handle right now?

We think one of two things will happen … and the options might be kind of obvious.

1) The money brings them closer together. Being on both sides of this equation might very well help them to figure it out together. Perhaps they’ll join forces and save the hospital as a team. After all, no hospital would mean they’re both out of a job, not just Owen.

2) It will tear them apart. Let’s face it: Cristina and Owen are finally in their little happy bubble again. Could this reality check pull them back into the dark-and-twisty world they just escaped? There’s a possibility they won’t see eye-to-eye on the issue or one of them is going to need some time or space to figure things out. We can’t imagine Owen will take losing the hospital under his leadership very well.

Do you think the money issue will bring Cristina and Owen closer together, or will it tear them apart? Sound off in the comments!
