After the devastating hospital shooting in the Grey's Anatomy Season 6 finale, we dealt with the repercussions for much of Season 7. Will the plane crash be the same way, or is it already in our past after just two episodes of Season 9?

According to TVLine, we aren’t quite done with the plane crash that left Seattle Grace-Mercy West without Mark (Eric Dane) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh), and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) without a leg.

We can expect yet another “wrinkle” to appear from the crash, and it will have “far-reaching implications for all the survivors.”

What could be so big that it affects everyone involved? Could they find out that something they did led to the crash or could have prevented it? Or is it something not-so-dramatic?

Perhaps something reminds them of the experience — maybe they have to treat patients of another crash. We’re totally guessing here, but we’re not surprised that the crash isn’t completely over and done with. After all, how realistic would that have been?

How long do you think it will be before we see the last of the crash? And what are your theories on this new wrinkle? Let’s hope it isn’t nearly as heartbreaking as the last wrinkle (aka the death of the steamiest plastic surgeon ever).
