It's personal. Two years ago Sarah Chalke's own son, Charlie, came down with the difficult-to-diagnose Kawasaki Disease, an ailment that, if not treated quickly, can lead to severe heart problems. It was a frightening and scary experience that left Sarah and her fiance wondering "what can we do to help other parents and kids not have to go through what we went through? What about an episode on a medical show?" And so, after a meeting with Shonda Rhimes, her arc on Grey's was born.

Which episode? Sarah will guest star on Season 9, Episode 19 (March 28), where she'll play a single mom who brings her kid to the hospital because, despite past misdiagnoses, she's sure something is wrong. That's where the episode's title, "Can't Fight This Feeling," comes from.

You can expect this episode to be very emotional. Because it hit close to home, Sarah admitted that she had a hard time keeping her feelings in check while filming. "As an actor, you’re usually like, ‘Will I be able to cry when I’m supposed to cry?’ But this is more like, “Will I be able to stop crying when I have to stop crying?"
