Sometimes Eric Dane (Mark Sloan) is so convincing as a grown-up kid on Grey's Anatomy that it’s hard to remember he actually has two kids of his own in real life. He and wife Rebecca Gayheart have two daughters: 2-year-old Billie Beatrice and 6-month-old Georgia Geraldine. So how are the two little ones getting along?

The couple attended the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball recently, and opened up about having two girls under 2 living together. Rebecca said, “Billie is being a great big sister now,” even though it wasn’t so easy in the beginning.

"We've had a couple rough patches but she really adores her," she said. "She's really sweet. It's like her live baby doll."

And with Eric on hiatus from Grey’s, it sounds like the whole Dane family is helping out with the new baby. “[Billie] helps change her diaper and give her food and put her bib on,” says Rebecca, “but sometimes she regresses and wants the pacifier for herself."

Hopefully Eric can use some of the parenting skills he learned playing father to Mark and Callie’s (Sara Ramirez) daughter Sofia!

Miss Grey’s? Us too. Luckily the show will return to Thursdays at 9 p.m. with all-new episodes in the fall on ABC.
