For not being physically involved in the plane crash, Grey's Anatomy’s Callie (Sara Ramirez) sure is walking away with a lot of scars.

First, she is forced to amputate her wife’s leg and then she is forced to unplug her best friend. We foresee a lot more tearful visits to the supply closet for the orthopedic surgeon.

TVLine caught up with Sara to talk about Callie’s future in Season 9.

“Her life and her child’s life are affected, greatly. And we see her having to grapple with the constant reminder of what’s happened, not being able to get away from it,” Sara said.

Like we said: More time in the supply closet.

How do you think Callie is going to get through the season, and how much will all of this affect poor Sofia? Will Sofia be the reason Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) finally snaps out of it? How could she turn away from that adorable (fatherless) face?

How long do you think it will be before Callie and Arizona return to a somewhat normal state?

Catch the next new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday, October 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
