Grey’s Anatomy fans jonesin’ for a refresher of Season 6 before the Season 7 premiere on September 23rd can relax. You’ve got a whole week to marathon the last season, which is finally being released on DVD just in time for the premiere. The DVD set features the standard bonus materials, including extended and unaired scenes, and outtakes. But it also features an extended finale with over 20 minutes of extra footage, including, but not limited to, additional gunman suspense, more of April snivelling, and increased tension while doctors' lives hang in the balance.

Aside from the gunning down of McDreamy and Alex, the Season 6 DVD will also allow you to relive the amazingly handled Mercy West Merger, watch the Chief devolve into alcoholism again, and swoon over McDreamy’s defiance of authority in the on-again/off-again Shepherd/Webber struggle for the Chief of Surgery position. Don’t forget Sloane Sloan, Lexie’s dye-job, or Bailey’s new boytoy, either.

The Season 6 DVD set will be released on September 14th.
