Wondering if Grey's Anatomy will be new on Thursday, October 11? We’ve got your answer!

ABC will not be airing a new episode of Grey’s next Thursday. Tragic we know! Instead ABC will be airing the Vice Presidential debates from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. It’s hard to believe that some things are more important than the goings on in Shondaland, but we think that the 2012 Election is a big enough deal to bump our favorite show.

Grey’s will resume with new episodes the following week on Thursday, October 18 with Season 9, Episode 3: “Love the One You’re With.”
