Sometimes it feels like Grey’s Anatomy is on perpetual hiatus, but tonight, Thursday, April 25, 2013, that is not the case. Our favorite medical drama returns with a dramatic all-new hour (Episode 21: “Sleeping Monster”), and it’s sure to be a doozy.

As we saw in Episode 20: “She’s Killing Me,” Bailey is under fire after two of her patients died from mysterious post-op infections, and another is on the brink of death. While she hasn’t been fired (yet), she’s been shut out of the system and Jackson has requested the entire staff to ignore her. Ouch.

We’ve rounded up a bunch of spoilers about tonight’s episode — including relationship drama, fatherly feelings, and a visit from the CDC — but if that’s not enough to tide you over, the official synopsis is below:

“Bailey finds herself at the center of a CDC investigation surrounding the death of several of her patients, as Jackson and the rest of the board members argue over how to address the crisis with the public. Meanwhile, Cristina teases Alex about his unspoken feelings for Jo, and Owen continues to take special care of Ethan as the condition of his parents remains uncertain.”
