On Grey's Anatomy Season 9, Episode 3: “Love the One You’re With”, Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) are working together with a patient who is super-excited to have sex for the first time with her fiance. But every time the patient brings up sex (which is a lot), April and Jackson exchange funny little smiles and smirks across the room.

When they’re finally alone together, April informs Jackson that she’s “re-virginizing” because she needs a second chance to recommit herself to God and start over. Meaning that every time they had sex would have meant nothing, which doesn’t sit right with Jackson.

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) figures it out, and Jackson eventually spills it all to her. It’s clear just how strongly he feels about April, and how much sleeping with her meant to him. When Jackson confronts April with his feelings, he asks her, “Do you want to get married?” He says that if she’s serious about the whole

I am not ready to be anybody’s husband. He wants to make sure it doesn’t happen again, “unless we want it to... unless we are ready.” They can’t say goodbye though, and they start making out like teenagers! Clearly, these two are going to have sex again, and whether or not they get married, well, that’s kind of between April and God, right?
