Relax. No bombs, guns, fireworks or otherwise explosive devices will actually be a part of the Grey's Anatomy season 7 finale. Frankly, Seattle Grace has probably seen its fair share of heavy artillery. But, Shonda Rhimes teases that it'll definitely be an emotionally charged finale that may prove difficult for us to swallow.
"I don't think the end of the season is going to be easy for any of our fans," she says, "but I think it's going to be pretty explosive for [the Cristina-Owen ones]." Uh oh. Does divorce loom nigh for our favorite ginger/Asian couple? We know they hit the rocks over a professional issue (and not the baby issue), but could Cristina (Sandra Oh)'s insatiable need to score surgeries really drive a wedge between the couple?
We definitely have a clash with Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) to look forward to when she and Cristina get into a little teacher-student feud during the musical episode. Well, Yang's back in full force, alright.
Explosive though the finale may be, we just hope Shonda doesn't throw away the "Grey's renaissance" last season's epically awesome finale set in motion. No more deranged gunmen for awhile, okay, Shonda?
