Kate Walsh has previously fessed up to needing voice lessons to get her through her comeback on Grey's Anatomy: The Musical Event, even calling the whole ordeal traumatizing. So, did she come out of her shell and blow her cast mates out of the water with a little hard work? Um, no.

She assured fans she would only be singing in the chorus numbers; no solos for Addison. Well, we appreciate that she's self-aware, at least.

So how did she find working on a musical? "After I stopped crying, it was really fun," she admitted. Rough! How's she going to deal when Shonda whips up a Private Practice musical next season? With all this genre crossover in the medical dramas, might Walsh consider working on her singing more seriously?

"That's right," she quipped. "I'm going to release a Christmas album. Yes, my goal at 43 is to be a triple threat — a singer slash dancer slash actor."

We're sure you did fine, Kate. Is anyone else wondering what Shonda could possibly have given Walsh to get her to do something she finds so obviously horrifying? She can't be in debt forever for getting her own spin-off...
