Grey's Anatomy

We've been focusing all our excitement on the Grey's Anatomy alternate reality episode, Season 8, Episode 13: "If/Then," but life will go on after that episode airs on February 2, 2012.

Fortunately, the following episode, Season 8, Episode 14: "All You Need Is Love," while not a Big Event Episode, focuses on another of our favorite themes: Valentine's Day! Now, thanks to a press release from ABC, we can give you a few details on what will go down when romance hits air at Seattle Grace-mercy West.

This episode is about love, love and more love.

On the medical front, it sounds like we'll have a very Valentine's themed ER, including a "10-year-old girl who has an allergic reaction to chocolates from her valentine and a man who is hit by a car while chasing down his frustrated girlfriend." How...sweet?

Meanwhile, some of our favorite couples, new and old, will try to find time for each other on Valentine's Day 2012.

MerDer hands Zola duty over to Lexie (Chyler Leigh) so they can get a little alone time, while Mark (Eric Dane) gets stuck with Sofia so Callie (Sara Ramirez) "can surprise Arizona [Jessica Capshaw] with a romantic evening." We're excited for some more Calzona lovin', though we wonder how Julia will feel about Mark being tied up on their first V-Day.

In other new couple news, "Ben proves to Bailey [Chanda Wilson] that he knows her better than she thinks." We're all for Bailey being an independent woman, but when is she finally going to acknowledge that Ben is not only H-O-T, but pretty great for her, too?

"All You Need Is Love" airs Thursday, February 8 at 9 pm ET/PT on ABC.
