Grey's Anatomy is known for its talented cast, and its talented guest stars. So it's no surprise that sometimes some of these uber talented people have worked together before. But did you know Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) has a very recent connection to one of the prominent guest stars from Season 9, Episode 6: “Second Opinion”? And which guest star is it?
It's Tim De Zarn, AKA "Santa Claus," the patient who suffered from Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome!
Jesse tweeted about their connection, saying, "Great performance by my Cabin in the Woods compadre Tim De Zarn (Santa Claus) in tonight's episode. How many of u made the connection?" He also posted this pic with Tim, saying, "clique."
Cabin in the Woods, for those of you woefully behind on your Jesse Williams news, is a recent (and excellent) horror-comedy flick from Buffy creator and Avengers director Joss Whedon. Jesse played one of the core cast members caught in a bloody situation; Tim had a memorable turn as a twist on the classic Harbinger character, AKA "the foreboding hick who warns them dumb kids away from the haunted cabin."
Did you catch the connection?
Catch the next new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday, November 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
