The Grey's Anatomy cast seems like family; even if they sometimes squabble, they all love each other and get along most of the time. That said, everyone has their favorite relative, and recently Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) revealed to E! which cast mate she loves working with the most — and it's not McDreamy!
"I...love acting with Sandra Oh [Cristina Yang]. That's my favorite part of the show," Ellen gushes in the interview.
Don't worry, MerDer lovers: She's quick to add, "I love Patrick [Dempsey (Derek Shepherd)] too," clarifying that "me and Sandra have something special."
We can't argue with that. Ellen and Sandra's chemistry has made Cristina and Meredith's friendship one of the most constantly touching relationships on the show. MerDer is great, but, in the words of Parks and Rec's Leslie Knope, ovaries come before brovaries. We can dig it.
