What's better than Dr. Sloan up close and personal? Oww, oww.
As everyone who saw Grey's Anatomy Season 8, Episode 7, "Put Me In, Coach" knows, Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) has a new love interest. But we didn't get to see much of this new lady love in the episode — aside from the fact she gets beaned in the boob with a baseball. What's her deal?
As Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) helpfully informed us, the character's name is Julia, and she is a ophthalmologist at Seattle Presbyterian. According to Calzona the two have spent a number of nights together, and she will become a reoccurring character, so you can count on Julia being more than a one-off fling.
Julia is played by Holley Fain, who you may recognize from Gossip Girl, where she played Trip van der Bilt's manipulative wife, Maureen. Hopefully she'll be a little less scheming and terrible on Grey's Anatomy — thought we have a feeling Lexie (Chyler Leigh) won't warm up to her even if she turns out to be a saint.
