April Kepner may still be relatively new to the relationship scene on Grey's Anatomy, but the actress who plays her, Sarah Drew, is happily married to Peter Lanfer; the couple had their first child, Micah Emmanuel, in January 2012.

But who is the man who managed to steal Sarah's heart? Here are five things to know about Peter Lanfer.

1. He's a professor. Peter is a lecturer of Jewish Studies, currently working at Dartmouth College, an Ivy League school.

2. He's really smart. If the whole "lecturer at an Ivy League school" thing didn't clue you in, here's some more evidence: Peter went to Dartmouth for undergrad, and completed a Master's degree at Yale before going on to get a Ph.D. from UCLA. That's an impressive resume!

3. He was willing to wait for marriage. Sarah Drew waited until marriage to have sex. While we don't know anything about Peter's history in that area prior to dating Sarah, it's really cool that he was willing to support her in that choice.

4. He's patient. Apparently Peter is a very patient man: He and Sarah decided to keep the sex of their first baby a surprise, and according to Sarah Peter was far more patient about the wait than she was.

5. He's been married to Sarah for 10 years. The couple married in 2002, and they still seem as happy and in love as ever!
