Bet you didn't know... Sarah's not the only one in her family to pursue acting: her second cousin is former star of The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie.

Sarah Drew debuted in the entertainment industry in 1997, but it wasn't until 2003 that she actually made it on camera! Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and raised in Stony Brook, Long Island, Sarah cut her teeth acting in community theater. During high school, Sarah voiced the character of Stacy Rowe on the cult MTV animated series Daria, a job she maintained throughout her studies at the University of Virginia. She starred in plays on Broadway and in London's West End before moving to small roles in the film Radio and the series Wonderfalls.

Although her most prominent role remains her work on the primetime soap Everwood, in which she appeared from 2004 through 2006, smaller roles on Cold Case, Medium, Mad Men, and Privileged followed Everwood's cancellation. Initially cast in a recurring role as Dr. April Kepner, one of the new doctors to survive the Seattle Grace-Mercy West merger on Grey's Anatomy, Sarah became a series regular in Season 7. But Grey's has some stiff competition — Sarah's also appeared as Suzy Pepper on Glee!
