Sarah Drew Delivers Heartbreaking Performance in New Short Film, Headlights

Our favorite Grey’s Anatomy stars aren’t just good at playing doctors. They have what it takes to play all kinds of different roles — especially after being trained by all those super-intense scenes we see on Grey’s every week!

Recently, Sarah Drew (April Kepner) starred in a short film called Headlights with Rob Giles (who wrote music for Season 8, Episode 16, “If Only You Were Lonely”). You may also have seen him as a guitarist on Glee!

On Friday, Sarah tweeted, “Hey friends! Check out the short film I did with @RobGiles,” including a link to the above video.

In the film, Rob plays a musician who has to choose between his career or the woman he loves, Michelle, who is played by Sarah. Though we see him more than her in the film, her emotional scenes — and the phenomenal soundtrack — kept us glued to the screen.

But don’t let us sway your opinions — check it out above, and then hit the comments with your thoughts!
