Halle Berry’s 6-Year-Old Daughter Nahla Shares Her “Top Ten Ways to Stay Married” (VIDEO)
If you’re looking for some sound marriage advice, look no further than Halle Berry’s 6-year-old daughter, Nahla.
This girl seems to know a thing or two about what it takes to keep a courtship alive. After all, she’s already witnessed a breakup (her father, Gabriel Aubry, and Halle split in 2010) and a blissful relationship (her mother married Olivier Martinez last year). So honestly, who else would you turn to for advice?
During Halle’s recent visit with the Late Night Show With David Letterman, she graciously shared Nahla’s “Top Ten Ways to Stay Married” list, and you guys? It’s pretty cute. For starters, No. 10 is “have fun and dance” followed by “talk a lot,” “keep your cars together,” and “be helpful and nice.”
Among the last five, Nahla advises to avoid fighting “out loud,” to “keep nice to your boyfriend,” (we hope she suggested be nicer to your husband...), “stick together — like stick yourselves together” (duh), and finally, “you need to kiss."
Sounds simple enough! We’re sure Nahla’s advice has helped out Halle and Oliver’s marriage, which will hit one year mark this July.
If this girl is already serving up marriage tips, we can only imagine the big sister advice she’ll pass down to her 8-month-old brother, Maceo — whom Halle and Olivier welcomed just before their marriage.
Which one of Nahla’s tips did you love the most? Tell us in the comments below!
