Hannah Anderson Reveals New Disturbing Details About her Kidnapping

A cloud of suspicion has continued to linger around Hannah Anderson since her kidnapping, but the San Diego teen maintains that she was being held against her will by family friend James Lee DiMaggio. She sat down with Today's Savannah Guthrie for an exclusive interview that will air on Thursday, during which she outlines exactly what went down on that horrific day

"When I got into the house, he handcuffed me and zip-tied my feet and then sat me down on the couch and told me what his plan was," she told Savannah Guthrie. "He told me he was going to kidnap me and take me to Idaho, where my intention was just to carry his backpacks to the river. And that he was gonna live there. And then he'd get me home afterwards."

After he revealed the plan to Hannah, she says James allegedly made her play Russian roulette.

"When it was my turn, I started crying, and like, was freaking out," she said. "And he said, 'Do you want to play?' And I said, 'No.' And I started crying and then he's like, 'Okay.' And he stopped."

Perhaps the interview is a preemptive strike against a book that’s about to come out next month by author and criminal analyst Chelsea Hoffman. According to FOX 5 News San Diego, Hoffman will reveal several inconsistencies in the teen’s story since the abduction.

“It wasn’t until her behavior after the rescue that I became suspicious,” Hoffman said.

“The four horseback riders made statements that Hannah didn’t appear to be there against her will,” Hoffman went on to say. “She shows up to a carwash fundraiser wearing a brace on one leg, and on that same exact day she’s wearing the brace on a different leg.”

Do you think Hannah played a part in her mother and brother’s tragic death, or was she just an innocent victim?
