Harry Shum Jr. Confirmed as Judge For New TV Show, Fake Off

It’s official: Glee’s Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang) has joined the judging panel of truTV’s Fake Off!

We heard Harry might be a judge last week when he posted (and then deleted) a picture of his Fake Off dressing room, but now, the word is out for real!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Harry is joining TLC’s Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas and visual designer Michael Curry as a judge for the new reality competition show, which requires contestants to work together to recreate iconic moments in pop culture using elements like Kabuki theater, dance, acrobatics, and illusion. This is definitely the first time we’ve heard of a show like this

If anyone’s qualified for the job, it’s Harry. We all know that Glee isn’t this mega-talented guy’s sole claim to fame. Harry’s also an expert choreographer and he’s an accomplished dancer. They don’t let just anyone dance with Beyonce, after all!

So does Harry’s spot on Fake Off mean he won’t be one of the original cast members to appear on Glee’s sixth season? We hope not. The network only ordered eight episodes, many of which have already been filmed, so if Harry wants to make a return, it looks like his schedule will allow it!

Are you excited to see Fake Off? Do you think Harry will make a good judge?
