Harry Styles and John Legend Wrote a Song for X Factor’s Alex & Sierra!

Skeptical that X Factor’s latest champions, darling duo and real-life couple Alex & Sierra, won’t be able to successfully launch now that Fox canceled their show? Think again because these two 20-somethings have A-list talent helping their debut.

We’d already heard that Alex & Sierra enlisted the help of Teen Wolf star and established hottie Dylan O’Brien. The three gathered around a piano during a recording session last month and made for one pretty picture. Then came the news a Maroon 5 band member (no, not Adam Levine) was helping the duo on their songwriting despite the one-time rivalry between Adam’s The Voice and the now defunct X Factor. Music, it breaks down all walls.

In the latest updates from Alex & Sierra’s studio, we’re hearing a fellow X Factor alum has penned a single for the duo. Helping the couple out is Harry Styles of One Direction and, get this, he co-wrote the track with none other than 9-time Grammy Award winner John Legend.

This actually isn’t Harry’s first stroll down songwriter’s lane, reports U.K. publication The Mirror. He’s reportedly written nearly 20 unheard songs, some of which have even wowed Mr. Nasty himself, X Factor guru and new dad Simon Cowell.

We’re not sure what Simon was listening to last week but on February 20 he tweeted the encouraging, “Am listening to the Alex and Sierra demos for their upcoming album. Fantastic” followed by “It’s seriously good. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

We can’t wait to hear it either, Simon! How about you guys? Tell us in the comments.
