If you hear "Hayden Panettiere" and "Golden Globes" together in the same breath, you might assume we're talking about the cleavage she bares as oversexed country singer Juliette Barnes on Nashville.

But we're actually talking about her consecutive Golden Globe nominations for the juicy role. The Hollywood Foreign Press just named her as a nominee for 2014's supporting TV actress category. Last year, Hayden earned a nomination in the same category after only half of Nashville's Season 1 but lost to someone 54 years her senior — Downton Abbey's Maggie Smith.

And we commend the HPFA for its good taste — Hayden helped make a scheming, cutthroat, impulsive character into a one we sympathize and even root for.

This year, she's up against Jacqueline Bisset as rich recluse Lavinia Cremone on Dancing on the Edge, Janet McTeer as manipulative mother Jacquetta on The White Queen, Monica Potter as mayoral mom Kristina Braverman on Parenthood, and Sofia Vergara as hot housewife Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family.

These back-to-back Golden Globe nods are Hayden's first major award nominations, though she's won various smaller awards for her work in Heroes and Remember the Titans.

Here's to Hayden's burgeoning career! May these be the first two in a long line of Golden Globe nods.
