Heather Dubrow Says Season 9 Needs “Some Kind of Shake Up” — Exclusive

With reports that Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino won’t be returning for Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, we’re just clinging onto the fact that our girl Heather Dubrow is still in the loop.

But, according to Heather, talks for Season 9 haven’t been made clear to the Housewives themselves, so Heather isn’t sure about Gretchen and Alexis’s futures. “You know I have no idea,” Heather told Wetpaint Entertainment at the Disney Junior Live on Tour! Pirate & Princess Adventure event Sunday night. “Bravo hasn’t even made an announcement that we’re having a Season 9, so forget about who is coming back and who is not coming back!”

While we’re sure Heather would miss the camaraderie of Gretchen and Alexis, she did admit that the show needs a new jolt of life if there is a Season 9.

“If we are going into a Season 9 we do need some kind of shake up,” Heather said. “It’s a reality show, it’s about relationships, and if we’re playing the same beat over and over again it’s going to get stale.”

And what does Heather think is the best way the show could be shaken up? “I do think we need new people and new blood and the whole thing. So I just hope if we come back it’s going to be different — and I think it will be.” Very cryptic, Heather (wink, wink).

What do you think about the potential shake-up for Season 9? Should there even be a Season 9? Hit the comments and weigh in!
