Aaron Carter on Ex Hilary Duff: “I Would Sweep Her Off Her Feet” (VIDEO)

Credit: AOL

Aaron Carter’s got it bad for Hilary Duff. It’s Disney-on-Disney action we’d usually be fully in support of but we have to say, Aaron’s getting a bit, um, intense.

First he tells the Twittersphere “I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don’t care what ANY of you think” and confirmed the “her” in that online musing was indeed his former girlfriend. Now he’s going on national television to reaffirm his obsession his tweet.

When Entertainment Tonight host Rob Marciano asked if the 26-year-old still loves Hilary, Aaron answered without a shade of doubt: “Absolutely I don’t know who she is today, she doesn’t know who I am today, but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong.”

What Aaron “did” wrong might have been Lindsay Lohan. You’ll recall he, Hil, and LiLo were caught in a nasty love triangle in the early 2000s.

We doubt Aaron’s going to get that chance to win back Hilary though. The mother of one may be back on the market after she and husband Mike Comrie announced their separation but not only are things looking pretty peachy between Hilary and Mike, she’s yet to respond to Aaron’s original tweet!

Not that he minds. “That wasn’t meant for the media or anybody like that,” he tells ET. “I wasn’t really looking for [a response] either. I’m sure she got the message.”

And in case she didn’t, Aaron’s got one more thing to add: “I want to fix the relationship I had with the love of my life … I’m not going to give up on Hilary… ever.”
