Diddy Offers Boy From Controversial H&M Ad a Modeling Contract

Diddy reportedly just offered the young boy from the controversial H&M ad a modeling contract!

According to The Shade Room, the music mogul reached out to the model after reading about his situation.

“Put some respect on it!! When you look at us make sure you see royalty and supernatural God sent glory!!” he wrote on Instagram.  

“Anything else is disrespectful."

The Weeknd is done with H&M.

The clothing company is facing serious backlash after they posted an advertisement featuring a black boy wearing a hoodie that says “coolest monkey in the jungle.”

Following the controversy, the singer has decided to end his partnership with the brand.

''woke up this morning shocked and embarrassed by this photo. i'm deeply offended and will not be working with @hm anymore... [sic],” he tweeted.

H&M just found themselves in some seriously hot water.

The clothing company has been accused of posting a very racist advertisement on their UK website.

The ad shows an African-American boy wearing a hoodie that says, “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle.”

Yeah, that’s totally not OK.

Needless to say, social media had something to say about the incredibly tone-deaf image.

“Someone at H&M thought it would be cool to have this adorable black kid wear a hoodie that says ‘coolest monkey in the jungle,’” one person wrote on Twitter.

“I see H&M is being racist, AGAIN! SMH,” another person wrote.

Models of Diversity added, “And then H&M UK got the bright idea to feature a black boy model with 'Coolest Monkey in the Jungle' hoodie on its website.

“How on earth can this be? SHAME ON YOU!”

Another user wrote, “Soooo....the H&M ‘monkey’ hoodie...I can’t believe that they actually thought that was okay?

“I haven’t ever been called a monkey to my face but know family who have. I don’t want my boys to encounter racism or think that being ignorant of racist slurs is an excuse.”

H&M pulled the advertisement from their site and issued an apology.

"We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image of a printed hooded top,” they said in a statement.  

“This image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States."
