Miley Cyrus’s Home Burglarized On Day Before Her Birthday
This is the kind of thing that could seriously wreck a person's birthday.
E! News is reporting that Miley Cyrus's home was broken into on November 22, the day before she turned 21.
The Los Angeles Police Department has reportedly confirmed that someone at the home discovered that property was missing at about 4:30 p.m. It is unclear if Miley is the one who called the police.
Some of Miley's jewelry was stolen, according to TMZ. The incident reportedly happened in the afternoon, and no one was home. Police say there were no signs of forced entry, and an investigation is currently ongoing.
This is not the first time that Miley's home has been in the news. Her home had previously been the target of a swatting prank twice before, where someone calls the police to report a violent crime taking place at a celebrity's home, only for police to get there and realize that nothing is happening.
This is quite the busy weekend for Mi-Cy. She turns 21 today, and then she is performing at the American Music Awards tomorrow. Sources say she plans to throw a birthday party in her honor in Hollywood later this week.
Miley doesn't appear to have been fazed by the break-in. Late last night, Miley tweeted, "All I could want on my birthday ❤️❤️❤️," along with a picture of her dogs sleeping on her bed.
We're relieved that no one was hurt in the incident. Clearly, even a burglary can't stop Miley from enjoying her birthday.
