Though he's a far cry from a hobo, Robert Pattinson claims he's living the transient lifestyle — that he's currently homeless.
When the Twilight heartthrob appeared on the June 12 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live — to promote his new movie, The Rover — the venerable host reminded him of his previous claim that he was living "under an archway next to some garbage cans" and asked if that was still the case.
"I wish," Rob replied with a laugh. "It's gone way downhill … My parents borrowed my house, which I was borrowing off somebody else, and then kicked me out of when I came out of Toronto. So that's the end of that. So I'm now homeless again."
So if he's without housing, where is all his stuff?
"Um, I'm not entirely sure … It's somewhere. I wish I knew … I think I have storage spaces that have some sort of secret key to them somewhere … I'm sure there's someone [knows] — one of my minions. [Laughs]"
Then again, the 28-year-old Brit also admitted that he tends to lie in interviews. "It's panic," he explained, immediately before telling Jimmy about his "heavy saliva." So who knows what's true?
And frankly, with all the money he made with his five blockbuster vampire flicks, we're sure he can buy himself a palace anytime he wants to.
