Bachelorette 2014 Hometown Dates: Nick Viall’s Major Misstep

Either Nick Viall didn’t watch Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor, or he was hypnotized by the controversial casanova’s overuse of “ees OK,” because dude totally forgot that Andi Dorfman has two left feet. But apparently so does Nick, as we learned when the Season 10 suitor brought Andi to do some polka dancing on his Hometown Date. The resulting dance disaster earned this week’s vote for Bachelorette Bleachable Moment presented by Clorox.

Why the Milwaukee native opted for an activity he was no good at is beyond us, though we have to give him props for his good sense of humor. Sometimes it’s not about form, but about enjoying yourself. In the end, however, it is a TV show and viewers didn’t appreciate being submitted to the awkwardness of it all, with 55 percent of Viggle users calling those left-footed scenes totally bleachable.

Download the Viggle app and check in with Viggle during The Bachelorette every Monday at 8 p.m. ET to play along and rack up points for cool rewards!

That being said, Nick can’t take all the blame for the squirminess of Hometowns, as farmer
Chris Soules totally stuck his foot in his mouth during his trip back to the farm with the Bachelorette. While the two hashed out their potential life together, assistant district attorney Andi asked Chris what she might do for work in rural Iowa. Chris’s response? “There’s an opportunity to be a homemaker.” Needless to say, that didn’t go over well with the career gal, and though Chris followed the statement up by saying he was kidding, 45 percent of Viggle users had already thrown up a bleachable red flag.

If Andi and Nick’s polka moves made you switch the channel and Chris’s failed suggestion had you shouting at the screen, you should definitely get involved and download the Viggle app right away. Next thing you know, you’ll be sharing your opinions with other Bachelorette lovers on polls and displaying your trivia skills for all things rose-related — in addition to your knowledge of many other hit series. Sure, you won’t get the key to the Fantasy Suite, but you will earn points along the way to get cool stuff like some Lil Jon jams to drown out Josh Murray’s loud kissing noises.
