Hospitalized Jamar Rogers’s Condition Has Improved — Report

Even from a hospital bed in the intensive care unit, former Voice contestant Jamar Rogers is maintaining his signature upbeat attitude.

After going to the hospital for a lung infection, the Season 2 Team Cee Lo Green semi-finalist, who was diagnosed as HIV positive in 2006, was taken into critical condition last week.

Thankfully, things are already looking up for the smiley 31-year-old as Jamar has been moved out of the ICU.

“They still have me on oxygen but they have lowered it,” Jamar told TMZ, also sending them a picture of his smiling face from the hospital bed. “My body is still super weak but my mind is really strong.”

Jamar’s mind seems to be strong indeed — the singer even took to Twitter to share the news of his stable condition.

“Out of ICU (great sign!) and doing better,” Jamar tweeted, adding some much needed levity to the scary situation. “You think a stinking lung infection could keep me down?”
