Netflix's strategy of releasing House of Cards seasons all at once enables many a fan to binge-watch. But star Kate Mara is not one of them.

"I’m not done yet. I haven’t seen the whole season," the actress — who turns 30 today, February 27 — recently admitted to In Touch Weekly.

"I thought I was going to binge on the first two days, but on Valentine’s Day, I was so tired, I only got to Episode 5, so now I’m on Episode 7."

Big spoilers ahead!

That means that, unlike the rest of us, Kate might still not know how the rest of the season plays out since she wasn't on set.

In perhaps Season 2's most shocking moment, her character, intrepid journalist Zoe Barnes, met her demise when Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) pushed Zoe in front of an oncoming subway train. (Apparently, that's what happens when you discover that Frank murdered a congressman.)

Keeping that spoiler a secret was a challenge for Kate, especially when friends and colleagues asked her about the production. Like the politicians depicted on the Emmy-winning series, Kate often bent the truth — as it'd been months since she filmed her death scene for Episode 1.

"I had to just lie about it and say, 'Yeah, I’ve got a few days off' or 'The season's going really well," she tells TVLine. "I took bunch of random pictures on the set in the two weeks that it took me to shoot my final episode and then throughout the months when I wasn't shooting we'd tweet a picture as if I was on set.

"Very Zoe Barnes," she adds with a laugh.
