Since attitudes of the time leave any record of the accused witch Tituba inconsistent, WGN's Salem has a lot of ideas to explore with the fictionalized version — played by Ashley Madekwe.

If you thought Tituba looked familiar bringing Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) into the woods to meet the Devil in the first episode, there's a reason for that, because...

You Know Her From Revenge. Grayson family employee Ashley Davenport was sent packing in Revenge's Season 3 premiere — but there's no bad blood between her and the ABC show. The series showrunner Sunil Nayar had nothing but fantastic things to say about Ashley upon her character's journey back to the UK: "She’s such a wonderful actress, and we kept trying to find the place for her in the show,” he said. "It was too late, two seasons in, to recreate [the character] completely."

She's a Fashion Blogger. Ashley has become not only an in-demand TV star, but a fashion icon to be reckoned with! Her blog, Ring My Bell, has over 38,000 followers on Bloglovin' alone, and 14,000 on Google. A genius accessorizer, she curates a collection of her favorite jewelry at BaubleBar.

She's Married to Her Co-Star. Ashley married her boyfriend of five years, British-Israeli actor Iddo Goldberg, in 2012! It takes a special couple to work and play together, and we're guessing this husband-wife duo has what it takes. On Salem, Iddo plays Isaac Walton (not to be confused with 17th century writer Izaak Walton), a fornicator sentenced to basically become Salem's janitor. (He gets a big ol' "F" branded on his forehead in the first episode.)

The couple also co-starred in the British drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl.

She's a Big Hannibal Fan. She doesn't just act on TV — Ashley's a fan, too! She called Hannibal "the best show on network television" over Twitter. "Visually it's incomparable and the performances are wonderful."

Trust her — she'd know!

She Has a Cat Named Oscar. Ashley's orange tabby, Oscar, is a frequent star of her Instagram. In one photo, she admitted, "Yeah I talk to my cat," adding the hashtag #crazycatlady.
