It’s been a busy week, news-wise for Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller. It just came out that the sharp-tongued dance company head declared bankruptcy in 2010, owing more than $400K in back taxes and mortgage payments. And now, the alleged catfight that was said to have happened between Abby and an angry mother back in November has been accused of being faked for the cameras!

Just days ago, it was reported that Abby was physically attacked by stage mom (and show cast member) Kelly Hyland, who was then arrested for assault and harassment of the Abby Lee Dance Company owner. The only thing? The incident is said to have happened way back in November.. and it’s being reported in January, just one week after the premiere of the Lifetime reality show’s first episode. Oh, and the whole thing was filmed by a camera crew. Yea, we can see how this might be a bit suspect.

This isn’t the first time the show (or any reality series, for that matter) has came under fire for too much producer meddling. In fact, the very woman who “attacked” Abby, accused the show of being fake and scripted in both a YouTube video and a Twitter rant last summer.

We’re not sure if Dance Moms would really go that far to drum up publicity, but we’re certainly interested to hear Kelly’s side of the matter — she’s remained mum since news of the arrest was leaked.

What do you think really happened? Tell us your theories in the comments below.
