E!’s new surprise reality hit #RichKids of Beverly Hills has earned itself the reputation of being a sort of real-life Clueless — and it’s not much of a stretch. The ladies on the show, including fan favorites Morgan Stewart and Dorothy Wang, are kind of like what you’d imagine Cher Horowitz to be like when she hit her mid-20s. So Cosmopolitan decided to have some fun with the two girls and see just how clueless they are on the market price of mundane life items.

The first item on the table? A banana. Spoken like a true rich girl, Dorothy asks if it’s organic. Then Morgan guesses $1, before they find out it’s only 35 cents. “We’re inflating,” Morgan justifies.“We like to be generous with our banana-buying.”

Dorothy continues to surprise us throughout with her awareness of the value of a dollar. When she finds out that a load of laundry now costs a whopping $2.50, she’s shocked. “What! That’s expensive. That’s too much.” It really is, girl!

She also knows how much a gallon of gas is running for these days, though we have to guess that she rarely pumps her own gas.

And to give credit where credit’s due, Morgan is a shameless lover of McDonalds — preferably the Chicken McNugget meal. When it she finds out that Morgan’s go-to meal is $7, Dorothy is aghast. “That’s so expensive! Why wouldn’t you just go to Whole Foods and get the brown rice sushi or something.” Well, duh, says Morgan, it’s “because they don’t have Whole Foods everywhere.” (That may not be why.)

Finally, just because these pampered princesses have cleaning ladies, that doesn’t mean they don’t know their cleaning supplies. When asked which product you would use to a clean a window, they chime in simultaneously to say “Windex.” “We wouldn’t use it but we know the people that clean the windows would use it,” Dorothy adds. Of course not!

#RichKids of Beverly Hills airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. ET on E!.
