Recently on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we've gotten an inside glimpse into Porsha Stewart's brand new home and, we have to admit, we're pretty damn impressed with her digs… all 8,000 square feet of ‘em! So how did single, non-working Porsha pull it off? In a recent interview with Jet Magazine, Porsha reveals that the house didn't cost her anymore than a simple condo would have.
“It was the same cost as a condo, and I have a big family. So for me it was a smart decision. It was the right price. It was the right timing so I jumped on it," Porsha explained.
Just this week, we learned that her new place is an hour away from the city of Atlanta, so it makes sense that the price was more affordable. Despite the distance, Porsha doesn't regret her decision at all.
"It’s been the best thing," she gushes, adding, "We have BBQs there. We had Christmas there. I just love being in my home, so it was well worth it for me.”
Also, Porsha does have her successful hair line bringing in some dough now, which she plans to expand.
“I have a new hair line called Naked Hair , so I’ve been putting a lot of time into that. I found a hair vendor that I really love — it’s top of the line hair— and decided to share. It’s online right now and I’m working on a location. I’d like to have a salon with a boutique next door. We can have events there and talk about hair care," Porsha shared with the magazine.
It's great to see Porsha embracing her independence!
