How Does Candace Cameron Bure Stay in Shape?

It’s been almost 20 years since Full House ended, but DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler are still BFFs — and they even run marathons together!

Dancing With the Stars Season 18’s Candace Cameron Bure is now a 37-year-old mother of three, and she’s in insanely great shape. She looks hotter than ever, but she works for it, telling Us Weekly, "I work out four to five days a week. I lift heavy weights, that's what I enjoy doing to keep building muscle.”

Candace said her cardio is “minimal,” but she does run races. She told Us her race buddy is Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy on Full House. "We ran several races together!" Candace told the magazine. "She runs marathons! I run shorter races, like 5K or 10K races, but with obstacles in them like Tough Mudder or a Spartan Race because I like the strength stuff and she likes long distances." Candace said Andrea is “dragging” her into doing a marathon at some point.

Whatever Candace is doing, it’s working very well — but it just feeds the fake “rivalry” between her and DWTS competitor Danica McKellar, since they are both around the same age and both look like they stopped aging around 21. Danica, 39, recently shared details on the strict diet that she follows to stay fit. We could never do what she does, but The Wonder Years alum does look like a wonder.

More power to these hot mamas for what they do! The results are showing on DWTS, and their fitness, strength, and discipline should help them through Week 4’s potentially stressful Switch Up twist.

Are you surprised to hear Candace lifts heavy weights and runs obstacle courses? She’s hardcore! DWTS Season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
