It’s not hard to sleuth out that Ellen Pompeo’s net worth is in the eight digits, but what about the other members of the Grey's Anatomy cast?

We’ve scoured the interwebs to find out, but don’t take these stats as cold, hard fact — there’s a lot of misinformation and conflicting reports out there!

Still, here are the approximations of the contents of the Grey’s stars’ bank accounts, as well as what they spend money on. (Did we mention they have dozens of kids between them?)

Ellen Pompeo: $30 million

Grey’s Anatomy’s lead star earns a reported $350,000 per episode — meaning she makes $8.4 million each season, and while each season is in production, she makes about a million a month.

She has two kids with hubby Chris Ivery, 6-year-old Stella Luna and 18-month-old Sienna May. She and Chris bought a 16,000-square-foot house in Los Feliz for $3.5 million, and they’ve since completed extensive renovations on the 1930s-era residence, as documented in Architectural Digest. The couple also shelled out $6.4 million for a Malibu house, sold to them by Friends co-creator Marta Kauffmann.

Chandra Wilson: $2 million

By the latest reports, Chandra makes an estimated $125,000 per episode — though we imagine she and the other originals below are earning a lot more these days — and she raked in cash for some Folgers Coffee commercials in 2007.

But she has also been raising three kids — two of whom are adults now, with the other still a tween. Plus, Chandra might have also had some hefty medical bills: She says her daughter has mitochondrial disease.

James Pickens Jr.: $3 million

James also earns a reported $125k per episode, but he’s also been a working actor for over three decades. He’s married to Gina Pickens and the father of two adult kids, Carl Tharps and Gavyn Pickens. He also owns horses — as an avid fan of horseback riding and cattle roping.

Justin Chambers: $4 million

The final original cast member on this list, James has an estimated worth of $4 million. Other sites cite his net worth as $12 million, but that seems high to us, especially because he and wife Keisha have five kids (ranging from 14 to 21) they’ve been supporting. Prior to his acting success, Justin likely cut a nice paycheck as a model for brands like Calvin Klein and Armani.

Sara Ramirez: $5 million

In addition to her Grey’s paycheck — the numbers of which are undisclosed — Sara also has a steady gig on The Disney Channel’s Sofia the First. Add to that a Tony-winning Broadway career in shows like Spamalot and a childfree existence with husband Ryan DeBolt, and it’s not surprising she has a cool $5 mil.

Jessica Capshaw: $20 million

How does an actress who only became a Grey’s regular in Season 6 have such a hefty net worth? For one, she enjoyed a steady gig on The Practice beforehand. But she’s also married to Christopher Gavigan, who founded uber-successful lifestyle brand The Honest Company with Jessica Alba five years ago.

That said, she and Chris have three kids dependent on ‘em… and counting!

Kevin McKidd: $2 Million

This Scotsman supplemented his Grey’s income with an endorsement deal with The Macallan after working at its distillery as a teen, and appeared in ads for the Scotch whiskey shot by legendary photographer Annie Liebovitz.

He also starred in TV series like Rome and Journeyman, movies like Percy Jackson & the Olympians and Brave, and video games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series.

Jesse Williams: $4 million

Like Justin, Jesse modelled before Grey’s — appearing in ads for Kenneth Cole and Tommy Hilfiger and music videos for Rihanna and Estelle — but he also worked as a high school teacher for six years.

On the big screen, Jesse has appeared in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Brooklyn’s finest, The Cabin in the Woods, and The Butler, and in 2015 he took a role in the upcoming thriller Money.

He and wife Aryn Drake-Lee have two kids: 2-year-old Sadie and 7-month old Maceo.

Sarah Drew: $3 million

Before joining Grey’s full-time, Sarah was a series regular on the WB teen drama Everwood. More recently, she also starred in the widely-released 2014 movie Mom’s Night Out.

She and hubby Peter Lanfer have two kids: 4-year-old Micah Emmanuel and 16-month-old Hannah Mali Rose.

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
