Andrew Lincoln Net Worth: How Much Does ‘The Walking Dead’ Cast Make?

A majority of The Walking Dead may shoot in remote, wooded areas outside of Atlanta, Georgia, but make no mistake — this cast has plenty of money in the bank and they’re taking home big bucks for starring on the wildly successful AMC drama.

Many of the cast members maintain multiple homes both in the US and abroad, and several of them have kids and families to support.

In general the TWD cast isn’t a glitzy bunch, but they could certainly afford to be given their estimated net worths.

Robert Kirkman: $20 Million

Believe it or not, the wealthiest of the TWD bunch is none other than comic book creator and producer Robert Kirkman, who is estimated to be worth a whopping $20 million.

Aside from the comics and TV show there’s a TWD video game, line of action figures, and more, and TWD is just one of the many successful comics RK has a hand in.

The Kentucky native also created InvincibleMarvel Zombies, and Outcast, which is being made into a TV series for Cinemax.

He’s also one of the five partners of Image Comics.

Andrew Lincoln: $8 Million

The Walking Dead’s lead star earns a reported $90,000 per episode — meaning he makes  $1.44 million each season. Not bad for about half a year’s work, right?!

Andy married Gael Anderson, daughter of Jethro Tull vocalist Ian Anderson, on June 10, 2006, and  Apple Martin — daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin — served as the flower girl at their wedding.

The 42-year-old and his wife have two children, Matilda and Arthur Clutterbuck, and the family splits their time between Atlanta and England.

Norman Reedus: $8 Million

Like Andy, The Walking Dead’s resident bad boy is worth an estimated $8 million. He earns a reported $80,000 per episode, making his annual TWD income about $1.28 million.

Norman also has many movie credits under his belt — like the cult classic, The Boondock Saints and Triple 9 — and modeled for brands like Prada back in the day.

When Norman’s not hard at work slaying walkers, he can often be found in New York City spending time with his 16-year-old son, Mingus, whom he shares with model Helena Christensen.

Steven Yeun: $4 Million

The net worth of Glenn Rhee’s real life counterpart is a bit of a mystery. Some sites say the 32-year-old is worth an estimated $4 million, while others place his net worth at around $1.5 million.

His TWD salary is unknown, but as one of the younger members of the TWD bunch he’s certainly doing alright for himself — let’s just hope his days on the show aren’t nearly over!

Steven also co-owns a Los Angeles eatery called The Bun Shop with his brother, Brian, so those TWD checks are hardly the only thing lining his pockets.

Lennie James: $4 Million

The net worth of Morgan Jones’s real life counterpart is estimated at $4 million.

Since he’s not on the show in a regular capacity (with the exception of Season 6) it’s difficult to determine how much Lennie makes from TWD alone, but we do know he has multiple sources of income.

The 50-year-old is also an accomplished screenwriter and playwright and his other acting credits include a stints on Hung and Critical.

Melissa McBride: $3 Million

Melissa is one of the few OG Walking Dead cast members left standing, so her $3 million net worth is hardly a shock to us.

We have no idea how the intensely private actress spends her hard-earned cash, but we’re willing to bet she could make as many batches of Carol’s Cookies as her heart desires!

Chandler Riggs: $2 Million

At $2 million, Chandler’s net worth is a fraction of his on-screen dad’s, but considering the Atlanta native is only 16, he clearly has an abundance of time to catch up.

A video game fanatic and new driver, we wouldn’t be surprised if Chandler spent some of his hard-earned money on games and a killer set of wheels.

Lauren Cohan: $2 Million

Maggie Greene’s off-screen counterpart has a net worth estimated at $2 million, putting her right at the middle of the pack so far as her TWD co-stars are concerned.

We don’t know her annual TWD take home, but we do know she and several other TWD cast members renegotiated their contracts in 2014, so we doubt they’re hurting.

In addition to TWD, Lauren has quite a few movie credits to her name, including the leading role in the horror flick, The Boy, and a small but crucial role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice alongside her soon-to-be TWD co-star, Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

She’ll next share the big screen with Danai in All Eyez on Me.

Scott Wilson: $2 Million

Hershel Greene

With an acting career spanning nearly 50 years a net worth of $2 million seems a bit low, but we’re sure Scott isn’t bothered by it. This no-frills guy has been married to his wife, Heavenly, for nearly 40 years and leads a low-key life.

Since getting killed off TWD in Season 4Hershel Greene’s portrayer has landed roles on Bosch and Damien.

Emily Kinney: $1.5 Million

The Nebraska native is worth an estimated $1.5 million. Though we’re not sure what she got paid per episode of TWD before getting killed off in Season 5, her career is red hot these days.

Since leaving the AMC drama, Emily has had roles on Masters of Sex and The Flash, and she’s also an accomplished singer-songwriter.

Danai Gurira: $500,000

Danai’s got an estimated $500,000 in the bank, but don’t feel too badly for her because she’s currently filming the Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me.

What’s more? Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is currently starring on Broadway in a play Danai wrote, called Eclipsed.

We’re not exactly sure what she takes home for each episode of TWD, but let’s hope her paychecks are in the same neighborhood as those of her male co-stars.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
