Peter was born on June 11, 1969, which makes him 44 years old. In the A Song of Ice and Fire books Tyrion is only 26, but then again, everyone is much younger in the books. But how does Peter’s age compare to his onscreen siblings, Jaime and Cersei? While Tyrion is supposed to be younger than the twins, Peter is actually older than both of them! Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) is 43, while Lena Headey (Cersei) is 40. Meh, close enough. As for Tyrion’s father Tywin, he’s played by Charles Dance, who is definitely old enough to be Peter’s dad IRL at 67.
What about the women in Tyrion’s life? Sansa is portrayed by Sophie Turner, who is only 18. Good thing the show is well aware how inappropriate that union is! Shae is definitely closer to Tyrion’s age, with actress Sibel Kekilli coming into the world on June 16, 1980, making her 33. We wonder if she and Peter celebrate their birthdays together?!
