This week's episode— in which the ladies took a skiing trip to Whistler, Canada — was the show's highest-rated episode of the season, according to TV By the Numbers. Who knew that Canada was such a ratings draw?
The episode — Season 8, Episode 14: "The Cold War" — brought in 2.2 million total viewers, with 1.3 million tuning in from the coveted 18-49 age range. This is the first time all season that an episode brought in more than 2 million viewers.
So what was it about this episode that made so many people want to tune in? For starters, there was no shortage of drama, with Vicki Gunvalson finally hearing about the rumors that Lauri Peterson has been spreading about her, leading Vicki to confront Gretchen Rossi and Lauri about it.
Also adding to the drama was Gretchen and Heather Dubrow setting the record straight on what Gretchen said about Malibu Country and whether she lied to Tamra Barneyabout it conflicting with her dress-shopping outing.
Plus, as the season winds down, it makes sense that more viewers will want to see how everything gets wrapped up.
We can only hope that the ladies continue to bring the drama — not that it's ever in doubt on a show like this.
