Jennifer Lawrence: Sheer Hunger Games Premiere Look Not Her Favorite
We all have insecurities about our bodies, yet somehow we never figured Katniss Everdeen fell into that category. But Jennifer Lawrence proved once again she’s the kind of girl you could brunch with on the reg by sharing her less than flattering critique of her look at the Los Angeles premiere of Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
When asked on Good Morning America if the sheer gown she wore for the L.A. showing was her favorite look, J.Law was her endearingly blunt self: “No, I wouldn’t say that. I think anytime a girl has to show her thighs it’s not going to be her favorite look.” Um, someone put that last part on a shirt ASAP. We will buy it.
Jennifer continues that it wasn’t the dress she didn’t like.
“I loved it. I loved the dress, if someone else wore it,” she explains. “I mean it’s hard for any woman to look at a picture of herself and be like ‘Great job!’”
Unfortunately, gal pal has come under fire as of late for her recent fashion choices but, in true Katniss style, she’s not taking the negative feedback lying down.
“It’s just kind of become funny to just make fun of each other. I also don’t like women slaughtering women and just all of us are being so mean,” she says. “Why can’t we just be nice? It’s like we grow up and then we get right back into high school.”
